![]() Alerts from the WGAN Traffic Center: CONSTRUCTION ADVISORIES
Large section of I-295 closed for the summer: I-295 Southbound will be closed between Gardiner and Topsham for necessary repairs starting June 16th. All lanes along this 18 mile stretch of I-295 south will be closed to ensure the project is completed in the safest and most efficient manner possible. Traffic will be detoured onto the Maine Turnpike and Route 201.

MAINE TURNPIKE UPDATES - Friday July 11, 2008 Daytime Activities
Between mile 3 in Kittery and mile 7 in York southbound lane closures are scheduled from 7am to 3pm for road work.
On Chases Pond Road in York east and westbound lane closures are scheduled on the Exit 7 Interchange Bridge for bridge work. This work will reduce the bridge to one lane in each direction and no delays are expected.
Between miles 23 and 25 in Kennebunk a northbound lane closure is scheduled from 7:30am to 3pm for road work.
At Exit 44 in Scarborough a southbound lane closure is scheduled from 6:30am to 6pm on the Exit 44 Interchange Bridge for bridge repairs. 35 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
At mile 102 in West Gardiner a northbound lane closure is scheduled from 7am to 5pm at the Exit 102 Interchange Bridge for bridge repairs. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
Contractors at the Route 126 service plaza project in West Gardiner will use a double lane shift to keep traffic away from the work zone to conduct installation of sewer and water lines along the roadway shoulder between the Gardiner Middle School and west to the Turnpike. The double lane shift is scheduled from 6am to 6pm. 30 mph work zone speed limits will be in effect.
Nighttime Activities:
At Exit 44 in Scarborough a southbound lane closure is scheduled from 6pm to 6am on the Exit 44 Interchange Bridge for bridge repairs. 35 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
