Phil Harriman’s public life includes serving four terms in the Maine Senate representing the 23rd district until being term-limited from office. He is currently a partner in Lebel and Harriman LLP, an insurance and investment firm, and has also been a board member of numerous organizations; including Mid Coast Health Services, Husson College and Ingraham. He has a national reputation for his expertise in family-held businesses, retirement planning, business continuation arrangements and estate planning.

Barbara Merrill received 22% of the vote in 2006 as an  Independent candidate for Governor. She is the author of “Setting the Maine Course ”, a book which outlines her vision for Maine.  She’s a lawyer who has represented non profits and businesses before legislative and regulatory branches of Maine government.  Last year Barbara represented H2O for Maine in its successful effort to better protect Maine’s ground water resources. She also owns a restaurant and inn in Southwest Harbor.
