WATERVILLE, Maine - New developments Saturday in the investigation into the disappearance of 20-month old Ayla Reynolds.
Our information partners at News 13 say that State Police have confirmed that blood was found in the home in Waterville where Ayla was reported missing from last month. The blood was found in the basement and it’s being tested by the state crime lab.
Public Safety spokesperson Steve McCausland says the blood was one of hundreds of pieces of evidence taken from the home. McCausland says while it’s not clear when the results of the test will come back the case is a top priority for the state crime lab.
